still don't really understand the hate for Habitat/Alien nowadays. i'll admit they've done some pretty corny collabs and maybe the aesthetic could use a bit of a facelift but i really don't think they deserve the shade they get. Suciu (literally just won SOTY), Kaue Cossa dope af, Silas still killing it, Delatorre doing some great skating in SF, legacy dudes like Janoski and Gall... then Joey O'Brien (people's SOTY) and Frankie Spears over at Alien. idk, the assertion that they're no longer relevant just seems pretty exaggerated to me. obviously they're never going to match the golden years of the late 90's and early 2000s but they seem fine to me all things considered

seems like a stable home for dudes that don't fit on these recent companies with a high trend factor, pant leg opening minimum width, small tat count minimum etc etc.

and in retrospect, starting fresh with newer talent and less baggage may have been the most genius play of the 2010s. I mean can you imagine working with Jason Dill? Can you really imagine it? Can you imagine the texts and voice notes this dude would send you if he was the team captain and you were his boss at Alien? Can you imagine the egos under that distribution between Dill, Kalis, Gillette, etc etc? no way dude. it had to end and this iteration is fine. lifetime pass for both companies.

EDIT: also Castrucci is goated and I will physically fight anyone that says otherwise. any counterargument will be met with "he made photosynthesis and mosaic". lifetime pass for this man also
