Usually not a great look, but i dont care. Function over fashion. My ankles suck, so i kinda need to skate high tops. And i like to be able to move freely, even when its hot out. I prefer to skate in pants, but sweat soaked carhartts can be pretty restricting.

Just do what feels best and makes skating the most fun. Whether thats looking cool, or skating well.

I literally look like a dingus when i do it but i see people do it with the exact same shoes and shorts and they look sick so it all depends

Like everything it's about your shoes, shorts, body combo. If you're short and wear massive shorts with big chunker shoes it's gonna look like you have cankles. Socks will also play a huge part in kook vs cool. Personally I think for hightops you need no visable socks or super high socks otherwise it's just kinda weird.

I think the hardest time I have with it is getting the right sock height. It does get really hectic between Mid-height shoe, Sock height, then leg and short length.

Looks weird on most people. Definitely a function over fashion thing for me; bad ankles and get uncomfortably hot skating if it's over 70 degrees.

I think it looks sick but I’m with you. I have super skinny stick legs and looks wack. I remember some skinny tall Brazilian skating in shorts and it was not a good look IMHO.

Depends on your [actual physical] fit...if you have some calf definition you can get away with it.

Njyah short shorts? Nope.

If you can pull it off...get some adidas slides and you get TWO outfits

Real talk when I’m chillin. Like going to a lobster Benedict brunch or riding the bike to the pub, I’m in them Lucas length joints. Never past the knee. EVER. But I appreciate the Baca look. I don’t even know what that must feel like. Probably like pants.
