Bro flow and semi retirement? He rips but also isn’t super productive anymore right? Might be missing something.

His parents are super wealthy. Doesn’t really have to be productive if he doesn’t want to.
So… Does this mean Blake is “Up River?”

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me.  You think you got me?

Switch back three that bump to bar. He's had some nasty switch tres and flip in grind tricks over the years too. Dudes kinda out there tho.

Not a super fan by any means but if you watch his parts nearly every trick is insanely hard and done very well. I don't see anyone else doing switch bs 360's over bump-to-bars

You picked one of his two memorable tricks. As did the other people who mentioned his switch 360 flip 5-0. The argument that “he’s actually really solid” is undermined by the fact that the only tricks people mention to defend him are the two I had in mind when I made my post.

Honestly the first thing that comes to mind when I think of him. He's vanilla af but the man has hammers to his name. Reminds me of Matt Berger.

Blake was definitely one of the more watchable Toy Machine alumni compared to the likes of Josh Harmony, Nick Trapasso, Austin Stephens, Matt Bennett, Jordan Taylor, or Chris Senn.

I think that's part of the charm when it comes to Chris Senn. Weird fast pushing between tricks in lines. Half cab flips like you mentions and goes super fast. People love the Gonz kickflip as well but it's super rocket. I love and appreciate that kind of skating as well ,compared to people who skates super clean and makes the tricks perfect.

A little birdie told me Blake had to leave Toy in order to renew his contract with his shoe sponsor.. Apparently N*** is strongly urging him to ride for Disorder. No bullshit.
Hopefully not a kook, but if so, fuck it.

Maybe Nike just feels Blake’s talents are more needed over at Disorder, supporting their larger investment in Nyjah.  Dashawn has it locked down as the pro over at Toy Machine and Sinclair can have younger Nike skaters slot in without it becoming a swooshfest

Austin Stephens though

God I wish he hadn’t retired . I don’t need a full part but just him cruising around on the weekends would be enjoyable.  Be sick to see a tom k & Jordan Taylor type series but with like him and Tim Tim as stylish older guys on a weekend warrior vibe.

His Daylando part is one of the standout indie VX parts of the early 2010s IMO.

It would be sick if Nigel’s plan for disorder is to assemble the most random, uncanny, yet still ripping team of skaters, hence the name
