Been perusing through a lot of his Instagram compilations especially, as well as parts. It’s obviously an impossible thing to debate, but I feel as though he might be the ledge goat.

I can’t think of anyone who’s done a bigger variety of ledge tricks honestly. Often mirrored also just for the fuck of it. Seems like an endless supply and he can obviously do any trick he wants. There’s also such a vast variety and not much repetition which is what separates him from a lot of other ledge skating greats.

Not to mention the execution. Crazy fast precise flick with basically zero effort. Truly a once in a generation talent and a pleasure to watch.

My first memory of Wade D was an SBC cover of a switch back smith on an outledge off a 6-8 stair set when he still spelt it all Frenchy with the eaux.
He’s dope, that’s all I got.

Love Wade as he's a local now and a great guy. But, the greatest ledge skater of all-time is Henry, and I'm not sure there is much of an argument against that (outside of how you can debate anything in skateboarding). Pack of Lies invented so many ledge tricks its beyond ridiculous to think about 30 years later.

edit: Of current skaters my favorites by far are Lucas and CK1. Shane and Carlos are unreal.

You should leave your personal taste out of this. There is no way Kalis or Stevie were ever able to perform the mirror tricks like Wade. Same goes with BDK.
