While I morally hate any contest format that relies on money, access, and connections and are not viable to for the average skater (mega ramp, skater cross, and vert to a much lesser extent)

this is fucking sick and I will totally watch it.

Joking aside, seems kind of cool. I wonder who will compete. I hope they add some safety features to that thing. Could be treacherous trying to pull off a full line and maintain balance from obstacle to obstacle.

I love the jam format. Definitely seems more true to skateboarding than the "runs" formats.

If you actually had 9 other friends willing to go and skate that thing, for $150 each I could think of worse ways to spend money. But I doubt anyone has a friend group of 10 people willing to tackle that behemoth.

If you actually had 9 other friends willing to go and skate that thing, for $150 each I could think of worse ways to spend money. But I doubt anyone has a friend group of 10 people willing to tackle that behemoth.

I'd imagine he would get a few kids coming through. Only way I'd be able to convince 9 other people to tag along would be if I knew in advance the likes of Bob or Jimmy Wilkins were skating it too.

Say you were some unknown vert ripper and you saw it as $1500 to get in front of one of the best vert pros in the world. You show up and completely bust, blow minds, get a couple clips... Doors would be open. I'm sure Felipe and his dad spent more than $1500 USD to get him to Tampa Am. Doesn't seem like that bad of an investment.
