Guaranteed Powell feels the best marketing is good product, the rest is secondary…..I’m going to go out on a limb too and say that &&’s board probably has outsold any other pro, most of the sales are through shops….

If minilogos interest you, I’d try ‘em….if they suck, it’s not a heavy investment, you can piece them together with old skate gear and sell it as a set up or give it away….

This might actually be some revolutionary gear improvement to the street skating world but it will never catch up cause it will be marketed terribly and have the wackest people backing it so it will never be perceived as cool and will tank. Thats my prediction…

Getting fiberglass shards in your hands is the wave of the future 😂 Jokes aside I back them trying regardless, it's cool to see.

Can someone fill me in onto the benefits of a truck like this? It must be a deeper carve, but will that be a benefit for most street skating?

One of the biggest advantages seems to be no kingpin to catch on dipped grinds.

And the kingpin nut won't get grinded down, kingpin won't need rethreading.

I'll try a pair because I'm a sucker for skate innovations but doubt they will reach mass adoption. The truck market is the hardest vertical to break into and sponsoring 3rd or 4th tier pros isn't going to cut it.

I can see the Bowl Barneys who are 100% on the PP / && / Flight Deck program getting on these, the same folks who would buy Avenue Suspension trucks.

They're ugly and look heavy AF. But I can see the possible positives in the design....built in lappers!

I think the outer face looks kinda sick. But the inner face needs some work, especially the ‘flap’ on the hanger that meets the baseplate. The do look pretty heavy.

About these new trucks:
"Still in testing phase but getting close. The RKP is looking really good with the feedback from our team. If I get any samples will let you know."

I wonder if they’d catch on crooks? But they look like they’d still love a bunch of issues, interested to see more. But there’s no chance these won’t be lumped in the dork zone.

I wonder if that "flap" is there to completely eliminate wheelbite by restricting how deep the trucks turn.

it looks like it's in front of the pivot to me?

I'm guessing what is being said is "the flap is connected to the pivot stem"

If that flat was connected where you think it is that truck wouldn't turn at all. It looks like it is angled away from the pivot slightly for clearance.

Theres gotta be a gap between the hanger and baseplate, but maybe they are close enough together so they could potentially make contact, limiting how deep the truck can turn, in turn preventing wheelbite. Much like how Death Savers work.

The lurpiv and indy 109 are setup in a similar way but I'd be surprised if they designed this truck to bind on purpose.

I DM'ed Skateone like a man, no updates. Maybe next year at the earliest but production on trucks takes much longer once approved. Based on how long they were testing/prototyping the dragon wheels, I feel like it'll be a while...

Damn they really need to put these out, I'd 100% buy a set. Are these the first reverse kingpin truck intended for doing tricks on short boards (since Variflex in the 80s)?

Op, you ok man? Being real here, you doin alright?

Fuck all this "for the price" shit, they're just good trucks. I would not feel like I got ripped off if I paid $50 for them at all. I also don't think they look THAT bad anymore either.

Those trucks remind me of the blades on ice skates.

Those are much more pleasing to the current ML...maybe they ditched the RKP design for these?

Could be working on both? The early feedback on the RKPs seemed to be positive, wonder if there was some critical failure point they couldn't design around
