But I'm curious, are there any high profile pros that use their platform to promote properly left-wing ideas (anticapitalism, anarchism, socialism, antifascism etc)

I don't follow a lot of pro skaters social media if that's what you're asking but to be clear here I'm not referring to a couple Bernie and AOC reposts. Those are progressive democrats but not what I mean by "properly left wing".

Of course you can have political ideas that aspire far beyond what you are currently able to be a part of.
Life is a massive idealistic compromise for almost everyone. I might be a pacifist whose taxes fund wars I don't agree with. Someone else might be a right-wing libertarian who worships the police or the military and have no issue with your taxes paying for them. Anarchists who vote etc etc etc.

So you're saying they're a class traitor to the rich? Sounds like even more or a reason to like them. Someone willing to derail and sacrifice their own generational wealth to help out working class people sounds pretty based and selfless to me.
