some people really are desensitized to death these days. she was 22. he deserves to rot in a hole for the rest of his life for cutting hers short. eye for an eye.
[close]

wouldn't "eye for an eye" mean executing him?

Assuming the rape part has been taken care of.

Good points, it’s actually quite remarkable he has lasted this long alive.

You always hear fathers say “if that happened to my daughter I’d yadayadayada…”

also doesn’t it, you know, make the whole world blind? and doesn’t that saying derive from the advisement against retribution based judgement?

bring back the death penalty for all murderers and rapers. i don't count self defense or re-venge killings the same way. if the family killed gator, go light.

Yeah for sure. And just skimming that article, it doesn’t fill you with confidence.
Like this comment from his attorney; “Sheppard says Rogowski created his own self-help program called, "Gender Abuse Prevention" and worked with those who, like him, suffered abuse as a child, and had a history of brain injuries from skateboarding”.....so Gator made a self hellp group for himself? Or is there a whole bunch of brain injured abused skaters in gaol for rape and murder?? Or was that just a chance to highlight the child abuse and headknocks as mitigation again. And that lack of responsibility seems to be what Newsom sites in repealing the parole, that Gator’s; “recent verbal disagreement with another prisoner and Rogowski's inability to understand what caused him to act in such a violent way are reasons for his decision to repeal the parole board's decision”.

Even Gator’s attorney says; "Mark Rogowski knows he does not deserve anything, and he feels great compassion for the wishes of his victim's family,". Ok, well they don’t want you out. Done.

And shit like this (from attorney); “he is confident in his recovery, and that he can be an even greater asset to society in the free community, where he can speak out about toxic masculinity and violence against women on a broader platform”. Huh, you think that you should “speak out” about your crimes “on a broader platform”...yeah, nah, you’re nobody’s role model or life lesson, dickhead.

“And his friends and family are innocent in this; they do not deserve his continued unwarranted incarceration" and “Sheppard says Newsom failed to take into account Rogowski's history with brain injuries and his struggle with substance abuse”....so he should be let out because of his friends and family, and because he’s a brain damaged junkie? Nope. That’s not it either. Dudes fried. Glad the wishes of the victims family are being respected.

In general, I believe in rehabilitation. But, certain things are so heinous you should never see the light of day again. What Gator did qualifies for that. Compulsion-based crimes tend to have higher re-offending rates such as rapists and pedophiles. A young gangbanger who committed a gang-related murder at 18 is likely different than the man released at 40 as long as he isn't fully institutionalized and has some options coming out.

Jail should be reserved for the privileged and empowered abusing their power. Rehabilitation is for people who made mistakes. This wasn’t a mistake.

As much as I don’t want to talk about it, it makes no sense how Mark “didn’t know” through out the 3 plus decades of how this occurred. If you were homies with Gator, couldn’t you tell if the dude had mental issues? Calling him “a total normal cool dude” is complete the opposite of who he is.

I wasn’t born the time of and not being acquaintance with Gator, I know the truth but not him.
