China banks vid got me thinking about satva Leung. Some of the best frontside flips and 270/360/alley pop (whatever you wanna call it) frontside flips done in true illusion style where not only is the question did it flip but also did the board ever even leave his front foot

My opinion on this has been said about 57 times in this thread already but fuck it.

1. Penny
2. Carroll
3. Reynolds

Whoever said Wade’s in Define is on point I rewinded that shit like 20 times.

This is all coming from a guy who’s done like 2 fs flips in almost 15 years of skating and can’t figure them out

Brad staba has a really good one. Pretty sure he was the first to try down Wallenberg and he came pretty damn close to doing it, Steve nesser almost did it too down Wallenberg, both came super close. Tony manfre has a good one too and I think he tried to do it down Wallenberg too.

Carroll. Rowley's fs flip into a bank wearing yellow Rowley 1's in the first x games is also burned into my mind. I haven't seen it in 20 years though, so could just have been a dream.

Fs flip is fucking money, no doubt. And extremely gnarly when you actually look at it.

He was on fucking fire that day.

I was at this one, I think it was a Vans event, something like 'War by the Shore.' This was peak Rowley at his finest. I just remember noticing that he seemed to land almost every trick he tried while everyone else seemed to be kind of struggling with the course except this random new guy I'd never seen or heard of. I eventually came to find out it was Cobra Cole.
