Have fun.

Two word book.

Taking care of your body is necessary whether you skate or not. Spewing leftist ideology without listening to Crass is not a very skateboarder move though.

Thanks for hosting. I’m always looking at anything to keep skateboarding for as long as possible. Health tips from other people doing the same will be superior to general health tips.

who did what now?

I love when people bring up world hunger. It makes everything meaningless.
"That guy is double parked."
"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?

"Regarding tobacco, alcohol and other drugs, they have told you a thousand times what their harmful effects are, but they have never told you this way, if you drink in your twenties, you'll skate two years less in your thirties, yes, you are wasting two years of Skateboarding just for two beers a day. "

First off, Learn how to use a comma before you start writing books.

Second, this is complete sensationalist blanket bullshit and I'm going to ignore anything written by someone who relies on that. This really reads like you read some shitty self help book and thought you would apply it to skating, but it's not as good of an idea as you think + you desperately need an editor or ghostwriter.

I think it's worse than just two years.

Friends in their prime succumbed to drink or drugs in my circle.

I quit smoking in my early 30s because I could barely warm up before being winded because I was a pack a day smoker. Without seeing what other older skaters were doing at this age or older, it would be easy to dismiss it as a consequence of old age if nicotine addiction convinces you. When I was addicted I would say shit like 10 out 10 people die when someone would trot out the statistics of how many people die from tobacco.

I do agree this bit needs to be backed with facts, but I  wish I believed something else when I was harming myself in my youth now as I near 50.

There's about 30 drunk middle aged+ dudes shredding the bowls at my park every Friday night, so my anecdotal example is better than yours.

Drinking a beer or two a day is not what makes it hard to skate in your 30s, getting old and doing something that's super tough on your body for decades is. Hence why pro athletes in nearly every sport/activity that relies on muscular strength, flexibility, and balance decline significantly in their mid-late 30's despite top tier nutrition and training.

Agreed. Everybody is different and to make the assumption that “ if you drink in your twenties, you lose 2 years of skateboarding in your 30’s”.outcomes are vastly different from one person to the next. Taking care of yourself and living a healthy lifestyle could help but there’s too many variables to think that there’s a formula that will guarantee a long and healthy future. Take for example a tragic situation like Dylan rieder’s, he was in his prime and fucking killing it, but then ducking cancer comes a long and cuts him down way too soon. It’s a good idea to try to live a healthy lifestyle, but you also gotta think about just enjoying life because you only get one opportunity to experience life.
