But only a few youtubers deserve attention (Ben, GH and a few others)

Are there any legit skaters on Tiktok ?
Are we into underage sexualized lipsyncing ?
Are we into stupid memes ?
Does the tiktok format add value for the viewer compared to Instagram ?

Yes, if you can find them in the never ending sea of underage girls with their boobies out dancing to the same sexually explicit songs. Those girls should not get any respect, but the skaters yes if they deserve it.

Social media happened that's what.

Skateboarding was literally just people standing on wood swerving around, no likes or nothing before. Just having fun.

You can look at like the VX era like in the 90s and early 2000s and it's really such a different landscape compared to now. Social networks and smartphones really have changed the world and it's subcultures.

It's weird but so is everything else. It's just up to the individual to moderate their usage.
