Good read, super nice dude and really fun to watch skate in person. Would see him at Muni almost everytime I went when I still lived in Philly, always says whats up and cheers on others. Hope to see his career go far, much love to him and all the Philly homies!

Seems like a cool dude. Pet peeve of mine when east coasters are like "It's not like the west coast here, we can't skate all year!" Like, at best you're talking about 40% of the west coast. Call me when you get > 150 days of rain a year like we do in the PNW.

Yeah I get that. And they mean Northeast when they say East Coast. WA & NY have more in common than either have with CA or FL.

i used to work in a skatepark in southern california and a 12 year old kid from the park dm'ed me asking me for the pin to a spot

the spot was the barcelona bump over bar lol

Very interesting story. I remember seeing clips of him skating or just in the background in vids. Definitely shadowed by some of the people he come up with. Nice to see people getting over trauma/addiction

that was a great read, mad respect to him for picking himself up after that attack and making positive changes. hopefully Supreme gave him some nice compensation for that since he was almost definitely attacked because he worked there. i would have left NYC as well.

definitely excited to see what he puts together for Baker.

I gotcha. Yeah it def sounds like he was too much in his head about it. Leaving so you don’t make your friends fire you is noble on its face, but def is hiding some imposter syndrome issues
