Decent is the right word. I've always liked Bucky (definitely victim of playing him in THPS and liking him as a result) and as a Dirt 3 kid was hyped when he joined the Subaru rally-cross team. I was excited about this episode and wasn't disappointed but was a little underwhelmed...I just wish his memory was better and he had more detailed storied but I guess that comes with the territory of being almost 50 and hitting your head as many times as you do as a skater.

Did he get a little testy at times or am I just reading him wrong?

Definitely seemed like they had a conversation where he said i'll do this but I don't really remember when what happened and asked them to not focus on dates. Then they asked for dates on everything and he got annoyed, but I could be misinterpreting

he did say he's seen 4 generations come through during his career so i doubt he wants to be constantly reminded how he is seen as one of the O.G's now and that these stories, tales etc. happened longer ago than he would like to remember, leave it as just a memory not a time lined one.

it sounds like he just lives in the moment and that sounds fucking great to me.

at least he chuckled when Chris joked about turning up at that house (his old one with the bowl) and asking if he and his friends can skate for his birthday like he's 12 yet there all in or close to there 50's.haha

He seemed to get a bit pissed by them asking all about the dates. Clearly a sign that those guys don't know much about vert skating and are making up for that fact by asking for dates and sponsorships and all that stuff.
I wanted to hear some vert talk and stories about old skateboarding

Just started this and found it hilarious that Crob asked him "How are you doing? Good?" to start it off. The "good?" immediately after the question just made me think his internal thought must be "Dear god, please be just good, cause we are not equipped to deal with you being anything else than good, positive, and agreeable."

Thinking way too much into this but whatever.

His career has been an interesting one. I went back and watched his mostly street part in the Natural vid from '94/'95. He had a great natural street style and also innovated on vert, plus his longevity and adaptability are remarkable achievements in their own right. Some great graphics, great video parts, always working hard and moving forward - also stoked that he combines his other passions with skateboarding. Check out that Natural vid to see him ripping classic B-more street spots.
