Would be curious to try an 8.38 - 8.5 with a 14.75 - 15 in wb
Made me look it up if there are any. Skatedeluxe has 14 8.5 decks with 14.75-15" wb. Mainly element decks, but also a real deck.

https://www.skatedeluxe.com/de/skateboard-decks?sort=new&eav=234%2C958-960

There's also an 8.0 element deck with a 14.75 wheelbase, that has to be wrong, right?

I think Madness also had an 8.38” with a 14.75”.

I'm 6'4 and my knees hurt. I thought a longer board where I can have a wider more athletic stance, not feel like my ankles are tied together. I am riding a 9" 15wb popsicle and it's comfortable but I can't ollie as high and it takes more effort so I switch back and forth. I have a Dogtown "Biggest Boy" 10" 16wb I have yet to try.
THIS. I'm 6'3"... I just retired a 15 WB, 9" wide Stu Graham creature. Great board, but it still felt a little cramped. So this week I did the thing: I set up a 16.5 WB bustin yoface with 169 indys as an everyday popsicle. So far so good. It seems like proportionally it's like somebody 5'10" riding an 8.75. I wish there were more decks scaled for bigger skaters. Anyone else use a small longboard for street? Seems like it was a thing a few years ago, but less in fashion these days...

18.75” wheelbase

I've always been tempted to get this. Although I bet I'd wish for more nose. What did you think?

Another tall guy here. I used to ride way bigger than average boards, never as high as 16.5wb tho. The problem tho with scaling up for size is the weight. Probably not so much an issue if you skate a lot of parks/transition but I was being a Chris Roberts type dork skating a Stu Graham with 55-58s and getting it up onto a taller ledge and stuff was a major chore after a while.

It’s a 4.5” nose. Idk, depends on what you plan on doing with it, I guess. It’s great for vert/bowl riding or just cruising around on. It’s lots of fun! You could probably drill it back at bit, to maybe a 5.5” nose?
What's going on over at https://skate2junkies.proboards.com/ ???

In looking at that pic, I could definitely drill the nose back.  Probably the most ridiculous thing, but where the graphic middle line meet the trucks, I would make them the same on each end, so the nose could come back about an inch or more.

Might make it a little more manageable to skate as well, but I wouldn't know.

I have a Krooked Gonz board that had a 16" wb on it which was drilled too far into the kicks, which made it feel really bad to skate, so after drilling it back, it works so much better.  Still over 15" but it is night and day with how it was from production to now with it drilled in at both ends.

Here is a post of what I did with it, then follow up post with an orange eagle, 9x 33 with 15 wb for comparison.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I think the length is wrong, not WB. I had one before a couple years back and it was definitely over 32" in length.

Black Label does have a couple up right now with a 16 inch wb, I believe these are currently the longest they have.

https://www.blacklabelskates.com/product/lucero-cross-mellow-yellow-stain
https://www.blacklabelskates.com/product/lucero-cross-full-black-dip

I wonder what Lucero's exact setup is.

Been riding a Black Label "Tumbhead" as my cruiser setup. It's the same shape/WB as the Cross deck you linked. Had it at the park a couple times.

Only downside is, it's 10" wide, so heavy and hard to flip. He makes the same deck as a 9.25", same wheelbase, called "Lucero Bars." I don't see it on the BL website right now, guess they're between runs ATM.

If I had the extra scratch I might snag one of these puppies…

Dimensions: 32 1/4" x 10" x 15.5" Wheelbase.

Anyone try one of these Foundation Spidey decks?   16” WB, it looks sick. The Olson and Ament teapot decks also have long wheelbases.

I’m 6’2”.   As someone said earlier, a longer wheelbase just feels more natural / proportional if you’re taller, broad shouldered etc.

I have short legs, 5'11" and i am not particularly wide shouldered either. actually pretty tiny. I am finding it a lot easier to "steer" into my slappys with the smaller wheelbase. it felt like i had to move an entire cruise ship boat into the slash - where now it feels kinda just like a sailboat with how i can get the turns a bit sharper. My ollies + Manuals seem to feel more like what i was used to (coming from 8" boards - now I am on 9.125" egg).

I just came from 14.75" wheel base to 14.25". i do feel like you have more stability on the longer wheelbase - maybe for bombing hills would make more sense too to not feel so squirly. I felt solid when i was locked in on my long grinds too now that i think of it.

Thank you for the replies!

9” 15” wb antihero eagle is a favorite. I’ve also been skating the AH Grosso 15.25” for years on and off and it feels great. Wide and stable are my shit at 44 and riding tranny only.

I remember having a Plan B Wray deck back in the day and it was so fuxking long. I’m 6’3 and that board felt like it was made for me. It was a dipped silver board and I wish I remembered the graphic. It had to 33’33344 long at least

Being where I’m from you couldn’t just pick and choose what deck you wanted but to this day I’m glad the plan b ended up at the homies shop.

Who's brave enough to get the long board? There was a krooked zip zinger called the ziiiiiinger a while back but it must have had a really limited run. Nothing even comes up for it on YouTube.

Update on the 16.5 WB after skating it about a month: SO GOOD. Great on curbs, great on transition, and surprisingly good for my little flat ground bag of 180s and shoves. Plus--crucially--my knees hurt WAY less. I can't ollie high with it, but I couldn't ollie high before.
