Love Marius. I always wondered what happened to him, but it seems like he’s slowly faded into retirement or something? I guess I must have missed that part of his career.

Always liked his part in feed the need.

Helsinki seems pretty nice though. Guess it’s the most under the radar part of Scandinavia.

I mean, it depends on your definition; internationally Finland can be reffered to as part of (the) scandinavia(n peninsula)

The nosegrind pop out on the ledge to bank in front of the shop is bonkers, as was Marius gap to BS 50-50 the kinked rail, hauling ass full speed.

Helsinki is the most beautiful city I have ever been to! Nature everywhere and also the skatescene is very cool and it has lots of spots and parks to skate! Can really recommend to go there

My office window used to be right next to the plaza they go to first, "Kampin tori". I saw a lot of good skating go down over the years during my workdays. It was especially sick when pros were visiting for contests like Helsinki Hook Up or its predecessors. They'd always end up there.

By the way, that place has sucked ass for years, it used to be good when it was new and everything was smooth. Now the asphalt is rough, the tiles are rough and uneven, there are gaps between the blocks. I don't think too many people skate it anymore. It definitely used to be a hotspot but not worth visiting anymore. There are good spots around, but Kampin tori is not one of them.

Marius is sick! wouldn't say that he has retired but just chilling in Helsinki for the summer. Think he's still filming but maybe not so actively. + What a great commentator he is haha always making the events a bit funnier!
