Even though i understand where that statement comes from, i would say that being interesting on a skateboard requires a lot of skills.
People who have kept a very minimalist tricks selection and mastered it (Nate Jones, Reese Forbes, or some of the Magenta folks, or maybe Fustoop) are definitely skilled skateboarders in my mind.
Now, there's a difference when someones does simple tricks badly.
This is not particularly a shot at Beatrice though, even though im not thrilled by her skating, but a more general reflexion on those situations when that statement comes out. Sometimes people actually suck : they do simple tricks badly. And it makes them uninteresting to watch.
Also, Magenta is such a diverse team that it's impossible to generalize about them. The only common thing would be that they all have carved a special niche for themselves, each in their own specific way.
