Always felt like Kurtis was slightly ahead of the curve of the pros of the time, never fully getting the shine he deserved based on his incredible skill level. To this day, I don't think I've seen another varial flip nosegrind 180 out (not that maybe it should be done), but nonetheless an insane trick, especially for the early 2000's. He took the blunt kickflip out on handrails to new heights, which in the context of the period, the only other person putting that down was Reynolds and a testament to where he was at that time.
