Its a small qp at the park, I’d be flying onto the deck. It has coping. Do I just haul ass and launch like back in the day off a jump ramp, hoping my old ass remembers what to do mid-air? Is it easier with or without coping? It looks fun as hell so I want to do them. I’m scared. Hold me?

It's the exact same thing as rolling over a big crack on flat. That little hop in order to be weightless and let the wheels bonk over it. Imagine the crack at the end of your jump ramp. That's all you need to do. Just start slow so there's no worry about what to do in the air. Not gonna spend a lot of time flying at first.
