I feel like spray paint doesn't slide quite as well as the factory paint or a waxy raw bottom ply, but it shouldn't be a problem.

Do multiple thin coats rather than one thick one so it wont chip or peel off. This will make it last longer so it wont wear through the whole layer with each scratch. Also give it time to dry and don't apply the coats too quick or you'll end up with a gummy layer that won't slide at all. I'm not sure if gloss paint would be better than matte.

You will most likely end up wearing through the spray paint back to the graphic, so another option would be sanding the graphic off if you've got a palm sander or something.

It might look cool though with gold slide marks on a dark deck.

Can always use acetone and make it a blank. Can't vouch if gnarly solvents don't mess with the wood though. My Consolidated board I got on sale seemed fine though...
