Catchiest Bass Riffs

Inspired by the "catchiest guitar riffs" thread. There are so many out there but I'm gonna start with this. Real artist simplify (and if you disagree go tell The Stooges about the single piano note they played through the whole I wanna be your dog song)

it must be crazy when chico sells you something and the tables switch from "give me my money chico" to "giving my money to chico"

Never enough Steve Albini/Bob Weston related content if you ask me :-). His stuff with Mission of Burma is amazing as well.

Big thank you for the Lync song, never heard of them before and kinda surprised they were released through K records. Kind of harder sound for what i associate with the K camp. Gracias for the tip!

so true as well.

Also cheers to other pals bringing up bands i'd never heard about. Keep diggin' amigos!!

glad you dug the Lync @Mcidraque , they are one of my favorites and i return to These Are Not Fall Colors regularly to this day.

actually, speaking of Lync, i also love this bass riff (i think that's what you'd call it)...there's something desperate about it that speaks to me

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

So good man, downloading These Are Not Fall Colors as we speak 👌🏻

Stoked that Kim Deal finally made her appearance in the thread hehe, now just patiently waiting for someone to add a song with Kim Gordon shining on it.

Cheers 🍻 !!

Wrote “bass riffs” for lack of a better term (Spaniard here so my English is kinda limited sometimes hehe) so synth etc more than welcome as well! (Also Cymande simply cheff kiss. Probably in my top 3 bands to wake up to :-) )

Cheers!
