Slide it and see what’s beneath. The skate equivalent to pimple popping.

Better call everyone you’ve skated with recently and tell them they might wanna get checked.

This thread is entertaining, so sorry to interrupt the fun, but it is most likely a wood chip or something similar that ended up glued in between the layers and got pressed into the board.

Had a few warranty claims from people over the years and that is the reply that has come back, no structural issues or problems with the boards in question either.

Shouldn't cause any issues with the board, but it would be interesting to cut it apart when you are done with it and see what is in there.

If you sit on it every night for 3 hours it'll start growing and in a few months a brand new 7.5 will pop out of it.

Did you switch curbs a lot lately without wearing the proper safety gear?

What if mid slide it pops and hundreds of little baby spiders come pouring out?

Sounds logical. I've been skating for over 30 years and never seen this one. Only noticed due to the light in that room also

Could be that Monkey Stix Pox that's going around: I hear that it starts off as a small bump on your deck.
There's probably a cream or ointment you could put on there to reduce that swelling.

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me.  You think you got me?

I had a Mode freestyle deck a few years back that had a lump like that. It was an air bubble between the plies. Just a manufacturing defect. I sent an email, got a new one shipped right out, no issues. It happens.
What's going on over at https://skate2junkies.proboards.com/ ???
