This popsicle shape with this nose that's bigger than the tail that everyone's been riding for 30 years  ignorant. Who ever came up with that? These idiots like Paul Schmitt. We should have been riding twin tails for the past 30 years. What the fuck is wrong with everyone thinking you need this weird oval shape that gets smaller in the back. The shape sucks and it's mass psychosis the twin tail isn't the main board shape in every shop.

yes the symmetrical board makes total sense, it should've been always an option, but nothing in skateboarding till this point has gone along the lines of logical thought.
Dunno if someone tried it 30 years ago, but Mr. J Casanova launched a symmetrical board on plan b around 2008 and never got this much attention. I had forgotten about it till Ishod started talking about his board some years ago.

I think it never got popular cause the vast mayority of skaters suck at it and can't do tricks on every direction as we theorically could.

EDIT: 7.5 and 7.75  ::)

Even if you never skate switch it still makes sense.

You never need to consider which way you're throwing your board down. Your deck, trucks and wheels all wear more evenly and your deck should last longer. The entire board is completely balanced.

I ride the occasional symmetrical board and if they were more common would probably only choose them. For some reason people get real bent out of shape about them. I won't be buying this && board but I hope it helps with making them a bit more common.

I was fine with his shit like a year ago.

I made the mistake of following him on IG and I couldn't handle it after a month. I follow Jereme Rogers and look forward to his horrid stories each day, but I couldn't stomach &&'s nonsense.

Used to skate with/film P-Rod in the early days.  His sister is P-Rod’s ex baby mama.

Did he have to read from his stupid little notebook to remember the specs of his board?
I was going back through this thread and remembering the time I spent trying to watch the video, and this is definitely what it needed. Missed opportunity.

I still find it utterly ironic that skaters want to be all inclusive when it comes to trans people and stuff, but then hate on Andy as far as wishing physical violence on him. I mean, he's basically a tranny right? I don't understand yall

He's basically a tranny? What does that even mean?

He's basically a skateboarder as far as what he's being judged on.

What the fuck are y’all smoking? Skate a symmetrical board if you like it, but there are plenty of reasons that a slightly wider front makes sense if you’re thinking from a perspective that involves more turning and carcing, less popping and spinning. There’s a reason surfboards aren’t twin tailed, and a lot of snowboards aren’t either.

i love having huge nose for noseslide. when i do switch noseslide, i pop off the tail.
normally for switch i pop off the nose
for fakie and nollie i pop off the nose - some like fakie off the tail which i understand (i dont mind it either and its necessary sometimes)
i dont think i could nollie off the tail. that seems wrong to me. i could do a regular trick off the nose if i had to and have, but prefer not to.
i like how the trucks wear out un-evenly. i think it helps my OCD when i am throwing down the board knowing i have thrown it down the correct way.  everyone always says "I ride the front truck looser than the back" but that just happens over time i think.
