Has anyone ever skated a pair of Globes they paid for?
I bought the Austyn Dovers. Look good, feel good, skate good.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

They used the same exact insole as his globe colorway? Interesting.

Those are globe insoles. If you look super close it says "surplus" on the insole which is a globe shoe model.

Looks like this smart aleck put Vincent's globe colorway insoles in some Es'  :)

they also need to charge their phone

Ah yeah actually. Early 00s choices were either globes or vans and at the time the globes were way better. Around 07 globe had this one shoe that was like a nike blazer but with no side logo and was only $50 Aus so had a bunch of those. Couple random pairs of plain vulcs over the years since because they're cheap and I think look decent enough if you like plain shoes. They're actually pretty alright.

Got a pair of Surplus for cheap, good looking shoes, confy out of the box but I didn't like the sole when I skated them.

In the 90s I got a pair cuz I hadn’t tried Globe before and thought they looked quite good. Holy hell were they stiff. Like clogs. I figured they’d break in by walking eventually. They didn’t. Might’ve been part of the reason why I quit skating for 15 years back then.  >:(

had some brown suede leather Globe Matt Mumford pro shoes back in like 2000 from our local globe outlet store (yes, indeed). unfortunately, i cannot find a picture of this shoe, but i thought it actually looked really cool and skated really good too.

Good for him if it's a step forward. I think he's one of the most underrated dudes out. Not that he doesn't get his shine, i just think he deserves more. He totally got robbed at tampa too.

Could see him ripping a pair of brown suede cats.

A contract on one of the big guys would be good for him, think he'd look best in NB or cons (fastbreaks), would like to see him in some accels though, that would be tight. or some telford lows/trudgers if lakai wasnt in a perpetual state of ball dropping.
