How Many Boards do you think you have had all together over the years?

I have been skating since ~1998 and I estimate I have had somewhere between 50-70 boards. curious how many others have had over the years! have a good weekend

I have no idea. I can only really remember my first and a couple after that. The memorable graphics. I do remember skating lots of blanks tho. I would estimate at least 30.

Edit. Whats funny is i own about 20 rn as wall hangers etc. That is probably slightly less than ones i have actually skated. I never really broke boards much. If one got super bad condition wise it did get focused however.

mine it’s like:
00-2013: 4 boards/year, that’s 52 boards in 13 years
2014-2019: 12 boards/year, 72 more in 6 years
2020-2022: 4 boards/year, 12 more I’m 3 years

So around 136 in 22 years of skating, that’s a lot of wood

It’s funny to think that my best skating came so late to the game, started at 10 and really got to my very best performance by 2019 at 29 years old.

Lol the hammer years. Skating street meant skating stairs/gaps most of the time. Boards break. Everytime I try flips I wreck myself for half an hour then break a board so maybe I can just try some type of ollie the stairs to Manny or if there's some type of curb after the stairs gap the whole thing..boards break. Find some type of ditch spot I don't have anything that interesting to do guess I'll just Ollie as high as I can to disaster.... Even more boards break.

I started in 2003, and a rough estimate would be 150, maybe a little less.

2003-2005 I averaged around 8 boards a year 2002 I started skating had 1 board from my birthday (January) until Christmas It was some European brand from Germany (I'm Scottish) the board was Razored real bad but no warping that Christmas I got 3 elements and they lasted until March 03 once I was able to go back to the Park and streets boards barely lasted a month skating 8 hours a day minimum. Weekends and non school days it was closer too 13 hours.

2005-2009 I started skating mostly street summer months I'd average a board every week once a board got Saggy I have it away and pulled out a new one. Averaged one a month during the other months

2010-2018 Got sponsored by companies and stopped counting how many boards I was using in the winter and not counted summer boards still averaged the same average in Summer but stopped skating in the winter and autumn.

2019-2022 Personal life issues meant less skating and then gaining 100 pounds (topping 350 pounds at my worse) but still had 5 boards but they weren't slated that much.

I have always put my board usage down to weight as I have always been 200 plus pounds since 16. I also really hate soft boards.

About 50, and I still have every single one.
Kinda cool, kinda stupid and I think I'll only keep special ones from now on.
About 40 of them are in a huge stack at my parents home and I don't really want to deal with another stack in my apartment. But it's also hard to stop keeping them at this point
