Anybody remember that finals run Dane Vaughn had in Tampa few years back? Was missing boardslides on the flatbar, seemed to be cooked on something...

Jimmy lannon and Dustin eggling didn't land shit at Tampa last year. Maria del Santo used to completely fuck up at a lot of comps taking ten tries to nosegrab and 8 stair and shit. Alexis sablone and Leo baker self destructed a few times.
Maybe this is evidence that the cooler a person the worse under pressure they are.

A long time ago at this local contest some kid tried to boardslide the handrail at the top of his run and immediately sacked so bad. After a bit he gets up to try finishing his run, and he promptly tries to boardslide the same rail only to once again sack it even worse than the first time. Two full sackings in about 30 seconds. I heard he immediately quit skating after that, so I nominate that as the worst contest run.

It was me.
Luckily no video proof.
First run i push for my first trick. and my kingping was brocken. In flat.
Had ca. 15-20min pause till the second run so i run to the skateshop inside the skatepark
bought a kingpin and changed just in time for my second run.
first planed trick was just a frontside ollie over some channel (bigger one) i have done a couple of times through cruising the
parcour with not one single bail while a busy practice session. (so it shoud be a save start to warm up, planed my run wisly through the day....)
Slam for unknown reason straight to the flat - so hard that my boxer short where torn in two pcs.
After being back standing on both legs and sorting out my balls in my jeans - second run was over.
0 points in two runs.
Coudnt get much worse.... you may think.
after the contest i was invited to sleep on the floor in some legendary local skateshop.
Owner is a skatelegend and cool as fuck. We sleept in the shop with >20 people.
Dope / Beer / Schnapps and the first Zero Video premiere was involved.
In the middle of the night i woke up cold and shaking searching for the shop toilette.
I didt know in which direction i shoud locate myself in front of toilette bowl simultaneous i had heavy diarrhea and
need to vomit. Some friend woke up from my noise - and found me half naked in the middle of the mess inside the
Skateshop toilette. There where by far not the right tools at my hand to clean properly after myself.
And i know i shared that place with 20 more Skateboarders in need for a little toilette after waking up soon.
Will not gave more details - but didnt come back again for any contest in this city.... for years.

Are the contextual contestant's runs available?   Might shine some light on points and what not.   Moses is amazing but in 3rd?   Mattias should have won plenty of trophies but did he make anything in his run?

Man the best worst runs are the ones by the self-appointed pros.

Like they show up, realize their best tricks are only really impressive at their local park.
So, without fail, they try tricks far beyond their own ability and have a near death experience.

The worst worst are the same group but they don't realize their tricks are bad. One I remember, was like 2 hardflips in a run, then a switch hardflip. Landed all of that but couldn't land the kickflip to fakie on the roll in or the backside disaster on a quarter. All 3 times. Same during practice. 3 years in a row.

That one where Luan overreacted because he wasn’t on top. Dramatic.

Wes Kremer had an SLS pro open run where he just rolled around the course and didn’t do a single trick. Simultaneously best and worst run ever.
