sending love and hope to all my Florida Pals who went through hurricane Ian, especially my brothers and sisters in SWFL. I live in the town that took the direct hit, and holy fuck, it was GNARLY. I've never seen anything like this before. All our barrier islands are essentially gone, beaches gone, whole neighborhoods gone... My hometown will never ever be the same. I feel very grateful to be alive.
Please, if anyone can donate, or know someone directly who could use help, help them! It has been a legitimate catastrophe.
