Was watching some Street Fighter 6 footage and Ken is wearing Full Cabs with a Half Cab logo on them essentially.

you could skate in CanisCanemEdit/bully, but only ollie and 180/360. With a little practice you could pretend to fifty fifty stuff though

That game really does look like a hot blast of something.

Those nba2k games have a skateboard you can roll around on and do tricks on too, and the animations are pretty good at that

As a kid playing Grand Theft Auto my dream was always a game that merged that with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater... so you could do your crime or whatever and then skate away and do grinds and shit

I always thought the same thing. Closest thing we got to that is Thrasher on PS1. Published by Rockstar actually. You skate and then when time runs out you have to escape cops and such.

I remember a very vivid dream I had in my youth of skating around San Andreas with the THPS style trick counter at the bottom

Does anyone remember the skating mini game in MGS2?

It was (essentially) a demo of Evolution Skateboarding. The sequel to Konamis ESPN XGames Skateboarding. Snake and a few other weird hidden character's were in the game if I remember.

It was actually an okay Skateboarding game for the time.
