What is funny about all this is back in the day we couldn’t care less about the graphic on a board, it was all all about the shape and the concave, it all gets scratched off in the end, and, you would wear sick graphic gear from whatever you liked, but I guess that all went out the door with the advent of popsicle popularity and team congruity.

I never once heard a discussion on how lame the Santa Cruz logo is, which it is, or how sick the H-Street logo was, which it was.

They has been talks of them leaving since around 2017-18. The original plan was for the FA x Adidas event to be their big farewell to FA, but Nak jumped the gun, and broke it off earlier, and said some things that soured the relationship with FA. Originally FA was meant to take care of the production and distribution of King, but Nak severed that relationship.


Heard they couldn't get the trademark for King Skateboarders either, so they had to get it as 'K1ng Crown', with the LLC being 'Kings Skateboard' lol.

i don’t want to spread a rumor that may or may not be true. i just remember in the original thread there was a guy who said he either worked at lottie’s or was a friend of the owner/major local who told the whole story about the grip tape/blunt incidents & i feel like i either remember him or someone else saying something about a kid being shot in a drive by for being affiliated with lotties & or wearing the gear. again, i don’t want to spread false information but, i definitely feel like i remember reading that somewhere within the long winded thread/controversy.
