2 different styles - tyshawn goes big on the iconic ones and cyrus is deep in the boroughs to find stuff that isn't as recognizable. saw cyrus and limo skating a gap to curb over a tree in my neighborhood the other day.

Tyshawn seems like he has that early 2000’s Mike Carroll thing where his default is hella grumpy but he really respects people who aren’t intimidated by him.

Based on interviews Cyrus probably thinks less of himself than Tyshawn does, but also more likely to draw his self worth from where he ranks as a skateboarder.

I can see Cyrus doing more deliberate cool guying after a really long self-righteous vibe check, whereas Tyshawn would just be a dick to you for an hour because you accidentally snaked him.

My pleasure. Man to Man With Dean Learner is more or less the second series of Garth Maregnhi’s DARKPLACE, but it’s a chat show spoof with Matthew Holness playing each episode’s guest. Try to track it down. Toast of London (Matt Berry) is a great one from the past decade too.

Chris Morris and Matt Berry’s bosses (Denholm and Douglas Reynholm), plus Richard Ayoade (Maurice Moss), fully elevate The IT Crowd above the laugh track, but I kinda see what you’re saying. Friends is fucking garbage though. Seinfeld would be closer, but I don’t think an appropriate American counterpart really exists. We’re not silly enough over here).

Yeah. Definitely revealed himself to be an intolerant kook, but I still really like Father Ted, The IT Crowd, etc. and considering he had a hand in 75% of the 90s/00s shows I listed, I don’t have a problem still watching and loving his work. You have to admit that the “GAY the Musical” episode is still pretty hilarious, even if no one would dare make that today. I initially thought it was making fun of homophobes, but now I’m not so sure. 😬

I don't think I've seen TJ do a Manny trick. That's always kinda been my shit. Im huge supporter of flat gaps.

What's funny/sad is Disorder actually has some type of presence in shops and stores, also with tech decks and places like Zumiez too, for good or bad. Shit idk if anyone's actually buying the decks or merch but at least the brand is out there. I haven't seen a ad or post from Kong in ages.
