It was a lot of fun and worked perfectly for Kadow's cheekiness. I wouldn't call myself a Billy Joel fan by any means (not familiar with any of his albums, only the hits), but that song is easily one of his best. The production is on point for an American radio jam from 1980; it's perfect for the roller skating rink with its minimal, Glitter Band/Glam-ish rhythm. At least it wasn't "Uptown Girl" or "We Didn't Start the Fire" where the irony would be too much.

Homeboy kinda looked like a werewolf at this point in his career, right? I like how he's rockin' a bottle of soda as a prop.

a bit mad at strobeck being able to pull two of my favorite songs (deftones' "change" + "one") for a supreme vid. also felt like "one" deserved more intense skating in the last fourth of the song.

Finally got around to watching this and I gotta say, I liked this way more than blessed. When I heard the metallica song start I thought it was going to be cringy, but it was my favourite part of the vid. Niks style is untouchable! So many skaters that were slaying I have no idea who they are though - thats on me with no social media and being old haha.. Great vid, will watch again.

Tyshawn’s heelflip over the bump to bar was absolutely gorgeous. I want to say right now. That is the most beautiful heelflip I’ve ever seen filmed. Damn.

Soundtrack was pretty spot on, the Deftones song off of White Pony was such a nice touch. Gave the whole video an interesting vibe; Bill took us on a journey into the depths of Gotham. It can be gritty—but goddamn is it interesting.
