Wasn’t Fourstar one of the reasons why Koston and Giy left Crail on bad terms?

Yeah that’s what I keep trying get going on here.   From what I remember, they secretly took the company away from those two aka the founders

Super Champion Funzone is a classic.  Hyped even if they are bringing this back for a short time.

we need to stop the 40 year olds in the industry from bringing back brands that peaked in the 2000s.

Yes. We definitely need to go full Logan's Run on the industry.
Oh...sorry, hope that reference too dated for you?

oh SNAP!
For some reason my tape would go weird when logan was being chased out the city and when they met box not sure why...

I think a good amount of fourstar videos are on Craig's YouTube but if they could make a dedicated fourstar account with all vids that would be pretty nice

Right, do people want fourstar back or just that early 00s era of the team?

Modern day 4star is going to be fucking Manchild and whatever other lakai ams who haven’t landed an apparel contract with their superior shoe sponsors or volcom (Simon).    If CK gets on them, great, but he was a Ruca/Eswic/ruca guy

Hahaaaaa. Was just going to say this was my favorite brand back in the day, and would rock a crew neck sweater. Logo is timeless.

I had some Malto pants that were great. I think if half the team didn’t end up on Nike apparel after they’d be back . Those tour videos towards the end were amazing

If it’s actually back I’m honestly stoked as fuck. I loved Fourstar when I was younger and as others have said that logo is timeless. I rarely ever wear skate logo gear anymore but I’d rock Fourstar in a heartbeat. No shame lol.

Either simple logos or i enjoy making my own shirt designs

based on Mike Carroll style alone, I really wanted to get the baggy cargos they made back in the day.
When I got them, the pants split at the crotch the first 5 minutes.
Also had a long sleeve button up... separate at the sleeve within 2 wearings... was not impressed on the quality at all

From what I heard it was the opposite. Guy and Koston (plus Ishod and CK etc) were all getting big add ons to their Nike deals to package footwear and clothing as one sponsor, also lots of pressure to do so. Nike wanted those guys in head to toe Nike gear at street league etc. It was more money than those guys had trickling in from 4* so they bailed to take that check.

Ck1 was on 4 star during his vest/jambox phase.  He had an intro clip with a voice over of Koston complaining how annoying he is.  Funny skit, back when crailtap was great

They also left girl at the same time tho. Guy also left royal which was his with Rudy. Seems weird that if everything was all good even if they left fourstar they'd also cut all ties with the other companies. It was 2015 and guy and Koston weren't even at sls etc anymore and ishod could prob wear a Nike shirt and nobody would worry what pants they had on anyway

I think it was all handshake deals which work when you get monthly royalty checks, but don’t work well when it comes to cashing out on ownership….a) you actually don’t own it b) you own it, but it’s not worth anything.  See Chris Cole and Zero….

Jealous! I check ebay every once in awhile to see if ones up in good condition.

The line they released was a disappointment, thinking about the anorak jacket though. That T-shirt is about as bad as it gets, just give me a box logo!

I remember that. I thought it was more so the ownership stuff. Like they had to be bought out or something even if they weren't on the team. Don't quote me on that.

These stories of the absolute ramshackle quality of their clothing intrigue me. Does anybody else have any tales of buying four star clothing only to have your pants split an hour later?

I mostly had 4* tees which screens crack and fade like any other shirt, I had the best pitate logo zip up hoodie but my ex put it in the dry, shrank to hers, one pair of jeans that had an odd fit but didn't crotch rip

Idk if I got lucky or what. Everything I had from Fourstar when I was actually hucking and slamming a lot outlasted almost everything else except Volcom. I still have a longsleeve with the pirate logo and a pair of jeans that have outlasted 3 pairs of Carhartts. My longest lasting favorite shirt was also Fourstar now that I think about it but I lost it after about 8 years of use.
