18:03 is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time
dude for real, i had to rewind that few times. i instantly thought “yeah that’s #1 on quartersnacks next list”. nick garcia won’t get it but, is definitely a heavy contender for soty. his skating has just gotten better & better. was really happy to see some appleyard in there, especially a classic 360 flip. video was sick.

imagine fucking the dog shit outta chris roberts

Does Apples have a full part?

Haven't dug in the video, but if Westgate got 60 seconds and Barley got 1 trick, don't count on Apples delivering anything.

Edit: OK that video shut me up, still got his signature Nollie Flip Crooked Grind and 360 flip, no complaints

Damn, that was a really, really good video.
I thought it was kinda cool that they included everyone who has ever rode for Element in the credits.

Element releasing a sleeper hit and gaining some a iota of industry relevance - color me pleasantly surprised.

Edit: Vitoria skating Blubba and Max Palmer's fountain were excellent, proper street tricks and style

can someone remind me why we're supposed to not like element? that was sick and they sponsor a bunch of pretty dope people. feel like their past couple vids have been pretty good too?

element has been kinda cool for a little minute now. people that dont recognize this are just behind the times

Element has always had a good team and they seem to have weathered their post-peace exodus pretty well.  That said,

Loved everything here. Brandon and Mark delivered. Vinicius and Vitoria had some very clean tricks. Jaako never disappoints.

Does anyone know the name of that last song? Around 19:32

Better on 2nd rewatch - noticed Element-ism like the zoom in on trees, water bodies, trash and wind. Didn't expect much from Appleyard but he's still 360 flip nosesliding and nollie flip crook-ing rails.

Losing Nyjah may have been the best thing to have happened to Element, yeah they lost their cash cow but the team can finally step out of his shadow.

Johnny Schillereff leaving and starting heart supply was also a good thing. Makes Element look like Passport in comparison.

I've noticed a trend of mall-core in recent vids. Metal militia, puffy shoes, jorts, loud colors, emo music, etc amongst young people. Element is prime to exploit that if they lean into that stuff. This video however, seems to point towards them going in a more toned down tasteful direction. Will be interesting to see what they do as a company.

Pleasant surprise, good to see Nick Garcia to continue to rip and his end is absolutely fucked. That being said having this kid Ettu who looks and skates a bit like him prior was confusing. Always wishing for more Westgate clips but it is what it is. Strange team but look like they enjoy traveling and skating together.

Because they've fucked on the US side for 20 years, when they've been pretty spot on with their team and videos since then. Of course, the product is still meh...
But since Rise Up, i've thought that euro Element was way sicker than the US one. I think they finally realized that too and gave à more 'euro vibe' to the company as a whole ( the team,  the filming locations, people editing...)

Video is excellent, really cool spots throughout. Team is really good, though I'm not really familiar with many of them. Jaakko goes bonkers of course. Eetu is so dope. Leon and Greyson had a surprisingly good part. Gabriels manual into that crazy bank with a drop was cool. Nick almost died there in the credits. Really like Vitoria. Victor Cascarigny's front board 270 bonk thing at 13:48 was a standout. Vinicius is fucked, love his skating, the gap he ollies on the glass building was wild. Nick Garcia got after it! His ender was unreal. Liked Barney Page's trick into that hubba better tho.

a buddy of mine isnt a serial skate video watcher so im always sending him just the must see clips from stuff that comes out and on my second watch of this i just gave up and told him to watch the whole thing cuz i was sending him an obnoxious amount of timestamped youtube links.

cant wait for jaakko's magnum opus part, guy is a unicorn in skating
