Sounded like a pretty believable story from Nyjah’s perspective but I’m definitely not steeped in knowledge on the subject.

Ive heard skaters hate on people w/ perfect style which can be also called robot style but theres a difference between the two- perfect is perfect aka no sketchiness and robot style is perfect but stiff. Nyjah does his shit perfect no gross sketchiness and hes not stiff. Not too loose either an example of super loose is darrell stanton but im a big fan of his even though he could've cleaned up a few of his tricks that he did. That recent back tail to fakie by Nyjah for his ender was so perfect and not robot style at all. Hes not tick tacky either w/ his tight trucks i think that was an issue when he was younger but who cares- ur skating should only be judged after ur grown man style has formed.

So yeah these skaters who hate on perfect style- i think some of them at least only like to watch sketchier skating to feel better about themselves. Im not buying the whole 'nyjahs boring to watch' or 'shane oneills boring to watch'. Shane doesnt even have robot style i never got that joke. His skatings perfect and not stiff at all.
