I used to look up to Mark Oblow a lot but after that nine club episode, I was pretty disappointed

for the love of god, why?

For me, it was between Mikey Alfred, Mikey Taylor, Oblow and Transphobic Silverman.

I went with the latter two because they seemed ignorant to the point of hate/actually hurting ppl. What Oblow said was out of this world abhorrent and Transphobic Silverman kooked it mega-hard to play the victim and bring outsiders (Piers Morgan, Fox News, etc.) into our culture for her personal gain. Plus a 13 year old's almost opposite reaction to a similar circumstance just a month or so later made her look so much more kooky.

Mikey Alfred probably kooked it the hardest -- and is the biggest all-around perma kook -- but he's such an insignificant non-factor that it made him less deserving of the title, in my eyes. If we just continue to ignore him long enough, he will go away.

I almost gave it to Mikey Taylor, because he has succeeded in attaining public office, so his ignorant, "get-money"/Elon Musk Stan schtick can have real-world ramifications and be so much more dangerous.  I'd like to think that if we ignore him, he will go away as well...but that seems less likely since he was elected to city council of a legitimate city. Still, I felt he did not win the award over Oblow or Silverman; he's just kind of silly. For now.

The alleged rapists like Tyler Warren are in a whole other category beyond KOTY so I didn't consider them.

A mentally unstable man (Lennie Kirk) attacked an individual, and a group of kids/ young men (including T-Funk) then retaliated by ganging up on him. Nobody was seriously hurt.

Everybody looked stupid in that scuffle, and those things should definitely be avoided, but it's totally inconsequential compared to what some of the other nominees did this year.

Mikey Alfred was searching for a new team cause the old crew moved on, he posts a vid on youtube hanging out with these young kids and smoking weed with 'em, "vibes are off" is what people said. Imo it's not even that bad, more like badly cut/edited.

People hate on the vid, instead of taking it down or ignoring Mikey decides to cry/ fight back just feeding the hate.

Half of the new kids decide to quit cause Mikey was acting too weird specially on IG, Mikey fights back again in the craziest of ways, trying to charge 700k for their footy, heavily calling the kids nazis with nothing to back it up, and recently asking people to punish them on their new project.
