only two tricks have been done across that gap in the past. the ollie was done before there were bumps, and the frontside 180 was done using a sign taped down across the bumps on the launching side and lands a bit on the bumps on the landing side. so I'd say Tyshawn's kickflip (bondo on bumps on launching side, landing a bit on the bumps on the landing side) counts just as much as the other tricks that have been done, which is to say that they all "count."
would it have been cooler if he cleared the whole thing? obviously, but it doesn't mean it's not incredible nonetheless. i care more about how terribly it was filmed than the bondo or landing on the bumps on the other side.
i do wonder how he felt watching the Jenkem video where they're measuring it from the beginning of the bumps on the launching side to the end of the bumps on the landing side, knowing that's not how he skated it lol
