I grew up right outside DC. I'm 4 metro stops from Pulaski, so like 3ish miles? But honestly, if I'm skating in DC I just go to welfare banks and skate shaw

Up until about 4 years ago, I lived in towns with about 10 spots each, none of them that good. Now where I live (Tucson AZ) I can skate less than a mile and have too many good spots to count, I end up skating way more often and I’m actually getting better in my late 20s.

1 block from House of Vans, so I’ve got that going for me.

Were you there last weekend for the vid premier?

You live in Chicago dude, you're very near many great spots!

West Michigan town I live in definitely has spots, although spaced out and no amazing plazas like youd find in a big city. An old fountain with smooth brick banks and ledges on two levels  (as well as a world class slappy curb) is my personal favorite, but we also have this giant gap that is a bit of a destination for skaters in the surrounding area.

There are some decent spots within 7 minutes (skate time) of my house in 3/4 directions. By decent, I mean spots that were awesome in like 1991. If that makes sense

i live in paris right in between république and bastille, which are good spots, but i mean you just have to walk 5-10 minutes and you find 3 fine street spots anyway, the city's so big that we have instagram accounts dedicated to spots that haven't been skated yet

Very nice. I stayed at the Villa Beaumarchais for a few days this Summer and found this Arrondissement great for skating but also in general, very nice area, good restaurants, a few parks to chill etc. If I would move to Paris I‘d certainly try to find an apartment in that area. How‘s the lease situation, hard to find something, insane rent?
why come?

the spot at 6:55 Rizzo talks about is a few minutes of a skate from me. Not sure if that counts as legit

spot is no joke and definitely should be hit with some softees

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

I used to be able to see the Oakland Courthouse from my balcony and it was a 3min skate. Now in SD I think the closest place that is widely known is either the Staples Center at 12min drive or some of the random spots seen at the various campuses.

been in ATX the last couple of years and it has been amazing being able to skate spots like the Austin High Ditch and Five Hip that i grew up watching pros destroy (and even still to this day)! the bank to ledge way out north that was in Stay Gold is so fun too. really want to try that victory ski jump by target but it looks so scary irl haha

it's amazing seeing figgy and the roger and no-comply dudes always holding it down around here too. shoutout to those dudes and my fav TX skater ryan holloway!

5 minutes from my front door

I wish. I need to go here before I fall out from boredom.

I'm kinda over the greater Boston area.

If I had a cat sitter I'd leave rn for it.

we poured a QP and a curb at my friends house like 2 miles from mine so there's that.

but as far as spots are concerned I'm at least a 15-20 min drive from anything decent by southern MD standards (nothing actually good to skate until you get up into Alexandria VA or DC)

Happy to see a fellow Marylander, the first time I ever pooped my pants was because I ate eight rancid mcgriddles at Cambridge-S Dorchester high school, not from your area but shout out to you guys

I work next to a flat out rail with a gap to the street. Pedro Delfino grinded it in an AM SCRAMBLE. I won’t even roll up to it…

Spots that are in videos and mags? 2-4 hours drive.

Nothing really where I'm at besides "good for your hometown" stuff.
