Someone mentioned a few days back that if he won he’d slow down on productivity. I think that him winning this will do the opposite, I think since he’s won it twice now that he’ll be gunning to be the first person to get it three times. I feel as if once he’s in the race, he’s already won.

His General part was really good but the rest was just filler

But what makes other contenders more deserving? If Nyjahs general wackness rules him out then why Tfunky or Louie?

TFunk did a legendary trick. Tyshawn did the kickflip and the switch ollie, tops Tfunk. Louie dropped a ton of footage. Tyshawn dropped plenty, while yes some was relatively average(though id say more was top notch than not), the general is way more memorable than anything Louie has put out this year.

I think if you look objectively he does deserve it and tops the other guys.

I think it came down to, not only who put out some gnar parts, but who also did a trick that kept people talking. And for me that was Ty's kickflip (and BS flip) over the subway rail and TFunk's China Banks ollie.

Louie and Nyjah put out heavy parts, but no one trick had people talking so much. Or got a Thrasher cover.

jah had the terrible cover doing the back tail in the USA leggings when he still thought he would win the olympics and be soty 2021 lmaoooo. it was last year but the tailslide footy was in his soty push this year

Both of those angles of the BS flip we’re so much better.  The long lens angle from the landing side made it look super gnarly.
