Bondo and Ply - what are the skate rules according to Slap?
« on: December 09, 2022, 01:25:03 AM »
So after watching Nyjah use ply for a smooth runway, it also got me thinking that this creates a nice consistent pop, similar to an indoor park, and then it made me wonder, everytime I couldn’t see the ground at the top of the rail, was Nyjah using ply?

And Tyshawn made that bondo runway rather than pop before the bumps, gives a smooth consistent pop zone and shortens the gap making it easier to skate. I reckon Tyshawn could have ollied the tracks without the bondo, and probably flip too. And skaters had already ollied/180 it without the bondo. But he chose to modify the spot. I get that it’s still crazy tricks and gnarly, not hating, but it does get me thinking about what is and isn’t acceptable modification to get the trick.

What’s the current skate law according to slap?
