Is he secretly blacklisted or something? You’d like Etnies or something might at least offer him a deal.

Luan on Cariuma confirmed.

Following Cariuma and Cariuma Skateboarding on Instagram.

It’s a sad day for skateboarding.

i have a hard time believing people are surprised he’s on cariuma. this has always been his deal in my mind. dude was a contest skater on flip and nike, making the move to cariuma - the official shoe sponsor of all contests - feels completely natural

I feel like he also has quite a strong berrics connection, in my head at least

Or perhaps money talks and he got an offer that was close or more than his Nike deal. And perhaps he is getting a pro shoe which I don't think he has ever gotten.

Berrics is his only recent coverage. No Podiums, No parts. I like his skating, but I don't think it was that hard of a choice.

I haven't scrolled through 4 pages of this yet, so it's highly likely this has been pointed out to all those saying "Cons would be sick".....Cons is owned by Nike.  :o
Hopefully not a kook, but if so, fuck it.

Besides the berrics connection, Luan is from Brazil and Cariuma was founded in Brazil
Was thinking this would happen when I saw he was of nike

not to double down on the guy, but what do you think is a greater disappointment: having your pro shoe be on cariuma or your pro board on flip in 2023

This

People here thinks he is core as Tiago. He hates the streets..seems like he does it as an obligation.

You never see him chilling with homies in any square, only skates indoors or skateparks.

I'm surprised to see so much Luan love in here, might be the teens that aged with him.
Miss you Rusty Berings

Damn, I hope he has saved some money. But I've got to say that he has been out of the limelights for like five years now so I'm not that surprised that Nike let him go. He used to be all over over the place a few years ago and seemed to disappear quite suddenly. I always wondered what happened with him.

I dont get how its "sad for skateboarding" that he is (maybe) on cariuma. Yes cariuma is awful, but when i think his "skater identity" all that comes mind is berrics stuff and sls so i think its pretty good fit.

Good fit or not its fucking sad. Jagger Eaton fits great on the heart supply and cariuma, and I'm sure as fuck not happy about that

I mean he’s always been a contest dude to some degree, but for quite awhile most of his posts were literally him doing flat ground or ledge tricks in a square. Like a plaza in Brazil.

I thought it was sad and disappointing news as well but this is an extremely valid point.

Since Nike stopped producing Janoski shoes

unrelated to main topic, but found it weird thrasher ran a nike ad for janoski's shoe in the newest/last month's issue but you cant buy the shoe?

would be sick to see Luan on a sole tech company but no :(

Janoskis are back for spring according to that one dude on nine club who works for Nike. It was to push the Shane or help with over saturation or something .
