I think it would have looked worse with a crail grab as he'd probably be more hunched over. It's a cool ass trick though either way you slice it.

And maybe 2023 will be a year of discrete brown-bag beverages and a steep decline of spliff b-roll and other party footage. Culminating in a 2024 Baker video devoid of any hijinx.

Was he really one of the best? He was definitely one of the handrail skaters of his era. But if I had to quantify it with numbers I'd assume it would be closer to top 100 or maybe top 50 since there were fewer pros at the time. I don't know... maybe I'm just biased but I'd probably rate Tbone above Chud for their era even.

I wear skinny jeans outside of skating almost exclusively, but I've tried to do it to look a little cuter when I skate (am female) but they're so uncomfortable and I feel so stupid in them in that context. I dunno how it was an entire era of skating.

Some man-made horror beyond comprehension type scandal done e.g. Berra running a slave labor/ sex ring with the berrics as a front while blackmailing other skaters so they don't snitch. Berrics being basically Epstein island for skaters.
