I just read through this tread. Dude has no sponsors? Just flow for a bunch of companies? WTF? Tell daewon and TPuds to put him on. Naw but really he needs to be up there in lights.

Want to say amazing skating as always, but that was even better than what he's put out so far. Last trick is incomprehensible. I second all the calls for him to get sponsored right now by Krooked or Sci-Fi (or Primitive, April or even Thank You) plus Nike. What the fuck guys, come on!

He's too smart and mild mannered to be marketable enough for a top tier brand. I could see him on something like Almost or Habitat though.

We need a Walker Ryan Lay part.  No Krooked but him and Tom Knox on the same squad makes sense.

Team suburbia for sure.

Dudes seems like he eats avocado toast.

Not enough tattoos to get backing from a proper sponsor?

he's never really disappointed as a skip-through-the-part-to-the-ender skater
So Colllin have the same t-shirts, seven years by now, at least...

Didn’t need to flex on us by showing that he knows two attractive ladies like that

…and then flex on us by skating like that

We get it, Walker

Wow what a incredible part. Bonus props for making it to the street after Le Dome double set with a front shuv ender.

hah, glad someone else noticed that too

also

kind of had expected this to be a welcome to habitat part

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

That was awesome. I liked that the part opened with a street grab. Never expected to see that from him.

Love Walker's skating since he came out for Organika and it's a crime he doesn't have top tier sponsors. That switch impossible over the rail was so good. It started wrapping so fast. Loved the switch impossible noseslide as well.

makes me wonder what this guy does for a living though.

I've wondered this too. I know he runs Old Friends and has written two books (and I think his family owns a winery), but that can't be enough for him to live on. And I think he's posted on his IG that the past two summers, he and his wife have just gone and worked abroad while traveling around Europe for two or three months. And that's not cheap, even if his wife has a really great job, and I'm pretty sure they're living in NYC now or they were, which is also not cheap. Whenever I see him skating in like Cyprus, I get curious.

I believe he posted a little mini IG part of all of the footage his wife filmed of him when they were in Europe last year and even that footage was fun. He's definitely productive so it's odd he doesn't have more support.

I'm starting to think Jelly Hart cursed many of his fellow team riders and friends and Walker got it bad. I respect having no sponsors for now over hopping on eS and Visit or Santa Cruz

Logic suggests despite his undeniable skills in all four stances and smooth style, he must have a defect personality not to gain and maintain top notch sponsorships.

He is one of the most genuinely lovely people in the world of skateboarding

I think he’s more of a case of “doesn’t have a capital “I” Image to market so sponsors are wary” that you hear about in skaters interviews about the rough side of industry

Kayo's mike pioware. Damn good but just doesn't quite have that x factor. Pretty cool thrasher will still post his parts. makes me wonder what this guy does for a living though. Definitely has the gnar and tech down, although nothing really stood out until he cab flipped down the stairs

You must have had a blast in the late 2000s.

One of the best switch/nollie tres. His sw impossible is fucked too (I don't think I've seen anyone besides him and Luan doing one).

And is he not on Sovrn anymore? Is Sovrn still a thing by the way? They weren't on the "Supported by" credits.

John Rob Moore has a good one, but yeah I see what you mean

Echoing everyone else here in that was amazing. Him being on Sci-Fi would be great and I also wouldn't be mad at him being an OG on Max Allure either with his SF/Karl connection.

stupid ass intro is the worst thing i’ve seen in skateboarding in a while, i couldn’t even finish the part after that. walker ryan good enough that he shouldn’t need a wack ass gimmick like this but i guess not. smh.

Having rich parents allows one to travel and write books pretty effortlessly.

Great skater. Song and edit were straight out of 2008 - would do him justice to get a re-edit. It’s cool that he’s including his wife in his project. My favorite trick was the switch 270 nose slide to regular at emb.

Amazing part! He would fit well on Habitat and give them a little new blood. Wherever he goes, his name should be on a board.

There is a lot of $$ in Napa Valley.
