Yeah, but Cyrus actually is a cool guy, so...

I have a feeling it's just a case of shyness and/or awkward social anxiety. He seems really warm towards his teammates, so I think the "cool guy" thing is just assumed and put upon him. I have no idea though, it's just a hunch.

I'm sure more than a few of these pros suffer from social anxiety and genuinely find it hard to interact with fans, or well-wishers. 

I've spent quite a lot of time around actors and eventually I figured out that the ones that displayed cunt'ish qualities were probably just anxious / terrified of the job in hand, where-as the sweethearts were just happy and confident at their work.
