If you can find one, Blast Skates did a thing with Vans where they sold uncut decks, and had an event where people learned how to cut there own shapes.

You can ask @petespigs on instagram... He's answered before in the comments where he buys his blanks, but I'm not trying to search through all of the comments to find it right now.

Hey I've got the Creature one that I haven't gotten around to cutting these past 4 years since I bought it. I'd be down to part with it.

I was looking at the Beer City and others as well... but none of them have the truck mounting holes drilled. That's why the Creature and Alien Workshop ones were so tempting. I'm afraid I'd fuck those holes up with just a drill gun, without a proper drilling jig like they use in factory.

Shoot me a PM if you want it!

Skatepaige blank cut to 9 x 31.875
14” wheelbase is drilled straight, concave is medium. Not sure about pop longevity since I’ve only had it out a few times. Pretty sure nose and tail are identical. It’s a heavy deck at 56oz (w/ grip), to be expected for square kicks but I bet the Grimple full is lighter being from a higher quality shop

sorry to necro this thread, can anyone speak to the quality of these?

You can find better, local guy here quit ordering from them because it was so hit or miss on the veneer quality.

Madrid is selling uncut blanks.

$36.45 for double kicks
$44.95 for single kick

https://www.fullcircledistribution.com/products/madrid-build-a-board-diy-blank-deck

I'm so tempted but I just don't have time to shape decks right now. I also don't know the wood quality (but honestly I'm sure it's good).

If someone gets one and skates it, please post a review.

https://drifter-skateboards.myshopify.com/products/uncut-skateboard-deck

these look good! although I wish they came wider. any personal experience with them?

I recently bought 3 15" wb 10.5" wide uncuts from skatepaige (https://www.skatepaige.com/blank-skateboard-deck/skateboard-catalog.html) and I'm pretty pleased. One of the boards I made did have a bit of a hole in one of the middle plies which looks pretty bad (just aesthetic as far as I can tell) but for a first dive into shaping my own boards and paying I think $15.99 apiece before shipping was hard to beat.

pretty distinct tub concave! no dyed plies or anything, fairly heavy I think. but overall what I'd call a good purchase. I'm going to get my next half dozen from a friend who presses boards in Chicago but I figured I'd report back.

edit: also it should be noted the ply inconsistency that caused the hole in the side of the board wasn't from trying to get too big a board out of too small a blank - the board in question was 9.5" wide from a 10.5" blank and the hole wasn't at the widest point. just forewarning

Another good thread that might have more info is this one:

DIY boards / graphics:

And I recall this one also had some stuff, but maybe not quite as good as the first one:

Everything blanks thread:

Always interesting to hear how people go with uncut blanks and what shapes they make, so there are some good ones on that first thread.
