So funny to look back a decade ago and remember how much of a hot-button topic this was. Everyone had an opinion and didn't want to let him in. It was only the insider street league crowd who would defend him informing everyone, "he loves skating so much guys! Let him do his thing. it's awesome!"
I still remember an old "skate-talk live" episode that had Ragdoll where the Lil Wayne controversy came up. Everyone was talking over each other and Ragdoll was trying to get a word in sputtering, "He's just a... He's just a...!", about to say something and Bob looked so uncomfortable, jumped in right away and cut everyone off like, "whoooa, whoa okay okay!" I don't know if he thought Rags was gonna say something racialist or what.
