Travelling to Europe through February
« on: January 20, 2023, 10:34:55 AM »
Just booked a flight to Paris for the start of February. Of course this isn't the best time of the year to skate, but I'll be in Europe for 1 to 2 months. Original plan was to go through Belgium & the Netherlands then to Germany and make our way down to Barcelona. Would it be better to go the other way around to end in those more northren countries near the end of the month? Trip is just about skating but it would be nice to get some in.

February is the coldest month of the year, so yes, if Skateboarding is somewhat of a priority, you should definitely start in the south.

Ill be honest: this a dumb plan for a skate trip

enjoy Paris for some days if the weather is nice, then travel to barca, and stay there for a month or go further south to some other coastal places like malaga or mallorca even

Not that "northern" Europe isn't going to be a fun trip, its just going to suck for skating

Dude it's freezing here. If you come threw Grenoble will be down for beers but I don't skate unless it's 10C or warmer. Too old for that shit.

Germany in the winter is varying levels of cold to freezing (0ish to -15 Celsius) and either snowy or rainy.

Or just hit up some indoor parks, what the Dick is wrong with y’all? Of course February isn’t the best, but it’s far from impossible to make this a great trip. Weather is all kinds of fucked up in Europe right now, snowing in Budapest and sunny 15C in Stockholm - you’ll find some way to skate, don’t you worry.

Start north and go south and you’ll be sure to end the trip well in Barca.

Lol @ traveling to Europe to hit some indoors. Ofc its possible to skate, but if skating is the focus he'd be better off south.
