Cory Kennedy.

Such a fucking mess all the way around. I've seen Cory skate in person a few times over the past year and I can assure all Slappers that he is indeed still one of the best skateboarders in the world.
This is not my SOTY. I'm telling my kids there was no SOTY for 2021

Massimo Cavedoni was always really good.
Ryan Hickey. I heard stories of him being the best NYC skater but no footage to back it up.
Pepe Martinez, he fizzled out and died young. RIP
Still one of my favorites.
The Pepe thing is overly simplified, he was one of the biggest skaters of the early 411 era, a major pro on Element. He didn't fizzle out, he tour his ACL and got on the wrong company in the same timeframe
Ryan Hickey probably made more working at Supreme than he ever would skating

Lavar. Most incredible talent at a young age but never recovered from substance and mental health issues.
Sadly this is the answer.

Is Jamie Tancowny on anything? He rips. And what happened to Lee Yankou?

Jamie Tancowny is on TECHNĘ, Lee Yankou is on Heroin (the company).
