Pretty rad move to co-opt the existing YouTube followers for the brand, wonder how the suit's that bought dwindle feel about that. Surprised they didn't do the same with the instagram account.

Just hope my Bag of Suck DVD doesn't get wiped for the Jacuzzi promo...

its a little surprising how badly they (and crailtap) seem to be doing, there's a very sizeable percentage of people at my local rocking lakais and enjoi/chocolate boards

Skateboard names are so odd nowadays. Frog, Limosine, Hockey, Almost, Bacon, Chocolate. Jacuzzi is not far from it.....but is still a bad name.

Uhh Chocolate predates Tilt Mode.

The only reason those names sound dumber than Baker, Zero, Enjoi, Anti-Hero, Real, etc is because they are newer

jacuzzi unlimited still isnt as bad as "Fucking Awesome Skateboards"

Louie is one of my favs so im gonna be optimistic about this until he gives me a real reason not to be

The only way they might get around it is arguing that "jacuzzi" is in common usage enough for the two companies to not get mistaken for each other. Given they are in different industries they might have a case.

BUT I'm guessing Jacuzzi has better lawyers and a pretty big incentive to protect their brand from skate rats.

I like the name though. I'd by a pink cassette online for $50 if it was a vaporwave producer.

according to a quick google search, apparently jacuzzi is pretty serious about protecting their trademark from becoming a generic term. theyve been suing hotels and have a section on their website about protecting the trademark.

honestly i back this. louie is a pretty funny guy and im sure he can make some great bits and incorporate skating into it. hopefully its not that corny.

My older brother had this friend whose dad was was this giant man first generation immigrant from Croatia with the super thick accent and everything. He called every soft drink "Pepsi" as a generic term but would still sometimes use the actual brand name of whatever soda pop it was. "You want pepsi? You want Coke pepsi or orange pepsi? Grape pepsi?"

We still do it sometimes because it was so awesome.
