spray painting shoes white?

I've done black but has anyone spray painted some shoes white? Results?

I can't see it being that different but just apprehensive.

I have some that I can test on but if it's awful might leave it

ive spray painted suede shoes before and the suede just eats the paint so it took like 5 coats to make them actually look white, Id use brush on paint for best results.
