You know what’s very underrated? 100 Grand bars, nobody buys them but me but they’re a big fucking chunk of caramel on a little snickers nougat bottom covered in dark chocolate. Amazing

Most overrated is Snickers, those things don’t deserve to be most popular

Also almond joys are incredible

Gushers would be my go to but the goo fucks with my teeth. Definitely delicious but I can’t eat em consistently.

Also do any other weirdos eat orange slices? Not the fruit but the sugar covered old people candy.

By Turkish delight you mean the Fry's Turkish delight chocolate bar thing? Similar to the Big Turk I'm guessing. Those are terrible. True Turkish delight from a nice confectionery shop are pretty good though. Especially lemon ones made with real citrus as opposed to an extract or artificial flavour.

Fry's Turkish delight rules lol. It's not dark chocolate I think even tho it's labelled as Fry's it's actually Cadbury. They do all kinda taste like shaving cream or some kind of soap or something tho.
Other end of the scale in that group would be the crunchie/violet crumble which I will say tastes good but I hate the texture and having that shit stuck in my teeth after

I feel old just typing that… it seems like something they’d sell to kids 100 years ago, but it was pretty commonplace in the 90’s-00’s.

It's funny how both of the products you describe are basically attempts at gateway tabacco addiction conditioning. I only remember Popeye candy cigarettes and some other weird chocolate cigarettes that would be trying to look like Camel cigarettes or some type of middle Eastern thing. Usually sold at suspect corner stores who's entite magazine top rack was pornography. Seems strange to me for an icecream truck to sell such a thing but I'm only 36 and have always lived in liberal parts of west coast Canada.

Big league chew will always exist in its own grey area while I can't imagine any iteration of candy cigarettes still existing in our modern world with how demonized cigarette smoking is these days. I'm not sure how it is in the rest of the world but cigarettes basically don't exist here unless you know to ask for them. I don't ever see any advertising and they're all kept in drawers so you can't see them at convenience stores and supermarkets. I'm not sure about smoke shop type stores but I was in one fairly recently and only recall seeing vape garbage and cigars on full display. The last time I bought someone a pack of smokes they were almost $20 for a "good" brand.

In Australia we still have 'Fads' which were called 'Fags' until 1995 which was slang for cigarettes. They had a red tip on them to resemble a lit cigarette. They no longer have the red tip but still come in a cigarette shaped box.

We also still have 'Big Boss' which were like a mafia themed 'candy cigar'. Now instead of it being the mafia boss man's cigars it's his dynamite.

I appreciate blue raspberry as a flavor as it signifies the time that we live in. What I mean by that, is our food supply is so profoundly different from what humans experienced for all of humanities existence that we have these lab-created concoctions. Walking the supermarket aisles in the US recently, I noticed Golden Grahams cereal had a noticeable label that said "NOW MADE WITH REAL HONEY." Like, wtf? What were you putting in there before? Go to the dollar store and see some real wild stuff... trying to buy a breakfast bar type of thing and it says "flavor inspired by blueberry." If humanity continues after this year, this period of history we are living in is going to look REAL WEIRD to folks in the future.

It's as basic as it gets red and blue are the two top flavours for candy but combine red and blue and you get purple the absolute best candy flavour possible. It's basic science. Purple is so good you will risk trying one of those awful black candies just to see if they might be purple
