it was in collateral.   

People use it who need it, but I think bus lines are the most convenient method until the lines expand further.     

I could use it to go to work, but I don’t think the 15 minute walk to the station, 20 minute walk from the station to work (plus however long it takes for the train to arrive) is really saving me time on my drive.

Here’s the transit map.   It’s good to get you to a general area, but there’s a lot in between it doesn’t cover

Can’t tell you all the stops they were at, but that last spot is at the Hollywood/Western station on the Red Line

It's not a very well designed system. It all originates Downtown and then spreads out, but none of the lines connect and LA is so large it can be difficult. I commute to work on the metro, and I take it downtown a lot, but I'm definitely in the minority.

For example, I live in Inglewood, and directly north of me is Hollywood. If I wanted to take the metro, it would require 3 different lines and 2 transfers; OR I could just drive 5 miles north (or take a bus obviously). If I want to get to the Valley, or Long Beach, or Pasadena? Forget it. It doesn't even go into the airport (yet).

They are expanding it aggressively for the World cup in '26 and Olympics in '28 which will hopefully help.

I’m just far enough it’s not a big deal. I was a bit worried Super Bowl weekend but it was actually really mellow.

The only real problem is my favorite curb spot gets converted for event parking, so game days and concerts I can’t skate there

More Leo Takayama!

Agree 1000% Leo is way too sick to just be the token international flow guy, pretty sure Chocolate doesn’t have any official ams at the moment and he’s perfect for them, also should be fully on Lakai if he isn’t already but haven’t seen any official announcements.

I saw him in Osaka last summer on Go Skateboarding Day and he was insane to watch in person, crazy consistent and spontaneous, also to the point of everything seeming very easy for him, lines for days with style and trick selection at the highest level.

Tightbooth guys getting a ton of shine these days but I think Leo is the raddest dude out of Osaka at the moment, one of the best in the already stacked country of Japan.
